Mabamba Bay
Mabamba Bay Wetland, situated approximately 36 kilometers southwest of Kampala on the northern shores of Lake Victoria, is a premier birdwatching destination in Uganda. Recognized as a Ramsar site and Important Bird Area, it hosts over 300 bird species, including the elusive Shoebill Stork, Papyrus Gonolek, and Blue Swallow.
